I was born in Staten
Island, New York. After graduating from high school I attended
State University of New York at Oneonta where I received a B.A. in Art
and Art History. While interviewing for jobs in the Art field, I
worked as a substitute teacher at local private schools. I
realized then that teaching was the perfect job for me, luckily on December
3, 2001, I was offered a job at Holy Rosary School. While employed
there I attended St. John's University and earned a Master's Degree in Elementary Education.
I was then employed by the New York City Public School System, where I
enjoyed two years of teaching. I have had the experience of being an
educator for four
and a half years before I moved to Georgia and began working in the Cobb
County School District. I am pleased to say that I will be
returning to New York this summer! I look forward to teaching
within the NYC Board of Education once again!

In 2006 my husband, Frank, and I moved to Marietta, Georgia.
It was hard to leave New York, but we love the life we have built
together. We have two adorable dogs. Duke is a little older
than a year, he is a mixed breed between a Labrador Retriever and a
Bassett Hound. He is a Bassador! Midnight will be a year old in
November. She is also a mixed breed. We rescued her from
Mostly Mutts!

Over the past seven and a half years I have taught second through
sixth grade students. I can't wait to enter into my next year and meet my new class!
